Listen to the story of the place in front of you. You don't have to look at the screen: start a place's narration and look at what's in front of you while you listen. Audio narrations are ready today for selected historic places in Istanbul; you can spot places with an audio narration by their marker on the map. Narrations are written with AI, based on independent sources. A place without a reliable source gets no narration.

See the places around you on the map and search for them by name.
Flanio Assistant
While you explore, ask the Flanio Assistant about a place, too. The assistant can make mistakes; check details such as opening hours and entry conditions with the place's official source.
Translate
Take a photo of a sign, a menu or a ticket, or type the text yourself. The translation happens on your phone.
Remember
Your trips collect in My Memories: the decisions in a plan you confirm are added to your timeline, and you can add photos to your trip. Your photos stay on your phone; they are not uploaded to a server.
Four languages
You can use the app in Turkish, English, Russian or Arabic; audio narrations are prepared in these four languages too.

Does Flanio sell tickets?
No. Flanio does not make reservations or sell tickets; purchases of tickets and tours happen on our partner's site. We may earn a commission from this referral; our affiliate relationships do not affect the order in which places are shown in Discover.
How are the audio narrations prepared?
Narrations are written with AI, based on independent sources. A place without a reliable source gets no narration. If you spot something wrong or missing in a narration, you can write to info@flanio.com.tr.
Where do my photos go?
Photos you add to My Memories stay on your phone and are not uploaded to a server. The photo you take for translation is also processed on your phone.
Is it on iPhone?
Flanio is getting ready for iPhone too. We'll let you know when the iPhone version launches.
How do I delete my account?
From inside the app or from the account deletion page. How your data is processed is described in the Privacy Policy.
