Account & data deletion request
Use this page to delete your Flanio account and associated data. You do not need to install the app — you can submit your request right here.
What gets deleted?
When your deletion request is confirmed, the following data linked to your account is removed:
- Your account and identity information (email, display name, user ID).
- Trips, routes and travel preferences you created. For trips you share with others, see below.
- AI Travel Card images you generated — server copies are placed in a secure deletion queue and physically removed during operational cleanup.
- Messages you wrote to Flanio Assistant and your conversation history.
- Your Flân Puan balance and transaction records (de-identified).
- Your comments and ratings; your contributions that are under review or were rejected.
What is not deleted?
- Trips you share with others: they are not deleted and remain with the other members. If you own the trip, ownership passes to another member. The trip's destination, dates and the notes you wrote in it (who you travel with, your budget, your interests) stay with them as part of the trip. Your name and the link to your account do not stay in the trip.
- Copies you downloaded to your device (cards/photos saved to your gallery) are not included; you remove those from your device yourself.
- Data kept only on your device (Travel DNA answers, preference profile, memory timeline) is not on our servers; it is removed from your device when you uninstall the app.
- Limited records we are legally required to keep (if any) may be retained for the period required by applicable law.
- Your contributions that were approved and published on the place's page: they stay there, your name is removed and their link to your account is cut.
30-day undo window. Your deletion request runs over a 30-day window. If you change your mind during this period, you can cancel your request (just email info@flanio.com.tr). When the window ends, your account is permanently removed.
